12 ABSTRACT An analogue current switch comprising a cascade of n identical switching elements, each element comprising an I2L integrated current-injection logic gate having one or more collector outputs, in which the signal input (e1) is the emitter of the PNP injection transistor (T1),the switching-signal input (e2) is the base of the NPN switch- ing transistor (T2), and the signal output (s) is the junction point of the emitter of T2 and the base of T1. An application for this analogue current switch is in digital-to-analogue signal processing.
