An embodiment of an analysis filterbank for filtering a plurality of time domain input frames, wherein an input frame comprises a number of ordered input samples, comprises a windower configured to generating a plurality of windowed frames, wherein a windowed frame comprises a plurality of windowed samples, wherein the windower is configured to process the plurality of input frames in an overlapping manner using a sample advance value, wherein the sample advance value is less than the number of ordered input samples of an input frame divided by two, and a time/frequency converter configured to providing an output frame comprising a number of output values, wherein an output frame is a spectral representation of a windowed frame.

Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un banc de filtres d'analyse permettant de filtrer une pluralité de trames d'entrée à domaine temporel, une trame d'entrée comprenant un nombre donné d'échantillons d'entrée ordonnés. Ce banc de filtres comprend un dispositif de fenêtrage conçu pour générer une pluralité de trames en fenêtres, chaque trame en fenêtre comprenant une pluralité d'échantillons en fenêtres, le dispositif de fenêtrage étant conçu pour traiter la pluralité de trames d'entrée de manière chevauchante au moyen d'une valeur d'avancement d'échantillon, cette valeur d'avancement d'échantillon étant inférieure au nombre d'échantillons d'entrée ordonnés d'une trame d'entrée divisée par deux. Ledit banc comprend également un convertisseur temps-fréquence destiné à produire une trame de sortie présentant un nombre donné de valeurs de sortie, une trame de sortie étant une représentation spectrale d'une trame en fenêtre.
