The method for analyzing an impurity in a gas comprises the steps of: introducing a gas with an impurity into a first cell (2); introducing a gas with no impurity into a second cell (3); maintaining identical pressures in the first and second cells; irradiating a light from a light irradiating means (1); splitting the light by a splitting means (4) in order to pass a first beam trough the first cell and to pass a second beam through the second cell; measuring the intensity of the light passing through the first cell by a first measuring means (5) and the intensity of the light passing through the second cell by a second measuring means (6); and determining an absorption spectrum of the impurity in the gas based on the difference between measuring data from the first measuring means and measuring data from the second measuring means.
Le procédé mis en oeuvre pour l'analyse des gaz selon l'invention consiste: à introduire un gaz avec une impureté dans une première cellule (2); à introduire un gaz sans impureté dans une seconde cellule (3); à maintenir des pressions identiques dans la première cellule et la seconde cellule; à éclairer au moyen d'un dispositif d'éclairage (1); à partager la lumière au moyen d'un séparateur (4) de façon à faire passer un premier faisceau par la première cellule et un second faisceau par la seconde cellule; à mesurer au moyen d'un premier instrument de mesure (5) l'intensité de la lumière traversant la première cellule, puis à mesurer au moyen d'un second instrument de mesure (6) l'intensité de la lumière traversant la seconde cellule; et à déterminer un spectre d'absorption de l'impureté contenue dans le gaz sur la base de la différence entre les données de mesures provenant du premier instrument de mesure et les données de mesure provenant du second instrument de mesure.
