An analytical device for determining the presence and/or concentration of an analyte in a sample liquid comprises a hollow casing; means such as an assay strip within said casing for selectively capturing an analyte in sample liquid applied to the device; a bibulous sample liquid receiving member at or adjacent to a first extremity of said casing which collects sample liquid and transports it into the casing; a window in the casing at a location remote from the first extremity of the casing; and a single cap which can be applied in turn over the window during sample collection, and then over the sample receiving member.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'analyse servant à déterminer la présence et/ou la concentration d'un analyte dans un échantillon de liquide à analyser. Ce dispositif comprend: un boîtier évidé; des éléments tels qu'une bandelette d'analyse placée à l'intérieur dudit boîtier et destinée à capturer de manière sélective un analyte dans l'échantillon de liquide placé dans le dispositif; un élément récepteur du liquide à analyser, de type buvard, situé à une première extrémité dudit boîter ou à proximité, qui recueille l'échantillon de liquide et l'achemine à l'intérieur du boîtier; une fenêtre pratiquée dans le boîtier en un point éloigné de la première extrémité du boîtier; et un capot pouvant être appliqué successivement sur la fenêtre pendant la collecte de l'échantillon, puis sur l'élément récepteur dudit échantillon de liquide.
