The invention concerns an analytical test tape instrument having an exchangeable test tape unit (14) which comprises a test tape (16) provided with a plurality of test elements (18) to which body fluid can be applied, and a tape drive (12) that can be coupled with the test tape unit (14) to wind on the test tape (16) so that the test elements (18) can be successively made available at an application site. According to the invention it is proposed that the tape drive (12) has a direct current motor (26) and a reduction gear unit (28) arranged between the direct current motor (26) and the test tape unit (14).

Linvention concerne un instrument analytique à bandelette de test comprenant une unité (14) à bandelette de test interchangeable comportant une bandelette de test (16) pourvue dune pluralité déléments de test pouvant être alimentés en fluide corporel, et un mécanisme (12) entraînement de bandelette pouvant être accouplé à lunité (14) à bandelette de test pour dérouler la bandelette de test (16), de sorte que les éléments de test (18) puissent être successivement mis à disposition sur un point dapplication.
