This invention relates to a pillow (1) and a mattress (6) the anatomical shape and rigidity of which help to combat pathological lordosis of the forward convex curvature particular to the cervical region and spondylitis in the dorsal region of the vertical column. The pillow (1) consists of two rounded lobes (2) and (3) with an anatomical shape for resting the head when the body is lying down in an antero-posterior position. The mattress is rectangular in shape and its anatomical shape and rigidity allow for perfect posture of the vertebral column in a dorsal or lateral recumbent position, thus guaranteeing decompression of the vertebral discs, which is an essential factor for combatingspondylitis. Both are essentially made of a latex-type polyurethane foam the rigidity of which is designed not to affect or alter the pressure of mainly the cervical and dorsal blood vessels, and inside they contain a suitable number of clay discs (4) in pre-defined positions, which are connected to the outside by means of three vertical holes (5). These discs create absorbent and healing conditions owing to the properties of the clay.

Cette invention consiste en un oreiller (1) et un matelas (6) dont la forme anatomique et la rigidité aident à combattre la lordose pathologique de la courbure convexe antérieure propre à la région cervicale, et la spondylite dans la région dorsale de la colonne vertébrale. L'oreiller (1) consiste en deux lobes arrondis (2) et (3) dont la forme anatomique permet d'appuyer la tête lorsque le corps est allongé en position antéro-postérieure. La forme anatomique et la rigidité du matelas rectangulaire permettent d'adopter une posture parfaite pour la colonne vertébrale en position couchée dorsale ou latérale, ce qui garantit la décompression des disques vertébraux, facteur essentiel pour combattre la spondylite. L'oreiller et le matelas sont fabriqués essentiellement de mousse de polyuréthane de type latex dont la rigidité est conçue pour ne pas affecter ou altérer la pression exercée avant tout sur les vaisseaux sanguins cervicaux et dorsaux; à l'intérieur, tous deux contiennent un nombre adéquat de disques d'argile (4) disposés dans des positions prédéterminées et reliés à l'extérieur au moyen de trois orifices verticaux (5). Vu les propriétés de l'argile, ces disques créent des conditions absorbantes et curatives.
