ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An anatomically shaped panty. In a double machine knitted web, the web halves are connected with each other at fixed intervals transverse to the direction of pro- duction. In the direction of production, at a fixed distance from the fold location in that knitted web half forming the abdomen side of the panties, the transversely extending thread guidance is periodically interrupted to form slot-like openings as leg passages.
