ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An anchor bolt is disclosed for mines or the like. The anchor bolt has threads at both ends for the addition of accessories such as strapping or screening to the end of the bolt extending from the wall or roof of a mine or the like. The anchor bolt comprises a cylindrical shaped shank, a first threaded section at one end of the shank which is adapted to be internally anchored in a drilled hole by a securing device, an integral torquing member formed on the shank and projecting outwardly from the shank beyond the first threaded section, the torquing member being located adjacent the other end of the shank, adapted for torquing the anchor bolt in the securing device, and a second threaded section at the other end of the shank.
