ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This disclosure involves an improved anchor for an insulated ceramic fiber refractory module of the type used for insulating the interior of a high temperature furnace. The module is made from layers of ceramic fiber blankets and the anchor is fastened to the metal shell of the furnace by means of a self-tapping metal screw and is engaged with adjacent modules by means of opposed arms.
