ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A water closet is held to the floor by internally positioned tie rods. The closet has an upper and a lower rim through which are provided vertically aligned channels to receive the tie rods. The the rods are made in sections so as to be easily aligned blindly within the shroud of the closet and tightened to hold the latter on the floor.
