An improved retaining wall system is disclosed, said retaining wall system being of the type having a plurality of wall panels, each having an exposed face, a fill contacting face, a first lateral end, a second lateral end, an upper panel surface, a lower panel surface and a plurality of mounting brackets protruding from the fill contacting face; at least two upright frame members, each of said frame members having a first end secured within the ground and a second end vertically disposed thereto, said frame members being positioned and dimensioned to support said retaining wall panels in mechanically retained vertical orientation therebetween; said wall panels being positioned in vertically stacked relation to one another, and, being separated one from another respectively by said frame members, in lateral relation to one another, so as to form a retaining wall of selected height and length, the improvement comprising a plurality of non-rigid connectors, and a plurality of anchors, each anchor having a respective anchoring flange directed along a plane substantially parallel to the plane of said fill contacting face, with each such non-rigid connector having a proximal end secured to a respective one of said mounting brackets and extending outwardly therefrom to a distal end secured to a respective one of said anchors, with each anchor being secured to at least a respective one of said non-rigid connectors. Further is disclosed a method for erecting a retaining wall according to the invention.
Cette invention concerne un système de mur de retenue (20) qui comprend au moins un panneau de paroi (24) et deux éléments de cadre verticaux (40). Chaque élément de cadre (40) comprend une toile (56), deux rebords (54) ainsi qu'une extrémité fixée dans le sol. Chaque panneau de paroi (24) possède une surface (28) de laquelle dépassent plusieurs consoles de montage (38), et repose selon une orientation verticale maintenue mécaniquement entre les rebords (54) d'éléments de cadres (40) adjacents. Cette invention concerne également plusieurs connecteurs (46) qui possèdent chacun une extrémité proximale (48) fixée à une console de montage (38) respective, et qui s'étendent horizontalement de là jusqu'à une extrémité distale (50) connectée à une ancre (52) respective parmi d'autres. Plusieurs panneaux de barrière de type Jersey (106) ou plusieurs panneaux acoustiques peuvent également être maintenus mécaniquement et de manière similaire afin de former une barrière de type Jersey ou une barrière acoustique, respectivement. Cette invention concerne en outre un procédé permettant d'ériger un mur de retenue tel que celui décrit précédemment.
