A new prostate cancer cell line is a continuous line of androgen-repressed metastatic prostate cancer cells. Androgen-repressed prostate cancer cells are linked with aggressive, malignant prostate cancer, in the identification and establishment of androgen-repressed prostate cancer cell lines, which are stable and continuous, allows the examination of therapeutic agents therefor, as well as identification of biological markers for the same.

Une nouvelle lignée cellulaire du cancer de la prostate selon l'invention est une lignée continue de cellules métastatiques du cancer de la prostate ayant régressé sous l'influence d'un androgène. Ces cellules étant liées à un cancer prostatique malin et agressif, l'identification des lignées cellulaires susmentionnées, lignées stables et continues, et leur établissement permettent de procéder à des épreuves de sélection d'agents thérapeutiques spécifiques de ce type de cancer et d'identifier des marqueurs biologiques utilisables aux mêmes fins.
