A device (100) for treating an aneurysm including an aneurysm liner (104) expandable to form an inner cavity (135) and a plurality of extender segments (130-1, 130-1) supported in the aneurysm liner (104). The device (100) includes an axial constraint, such as guidewire (100), coupled to the plurality of extender segments (130-1, 130-n) in the liner (104) to axially constrain extender segments (130-1, 130-n) in end to end alignment to bias the liner 104 in a collapsed profile.
