ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An angle indicator for indicating two mutually perpend- icular directions which indicator comprises two angle indicating devices. Each indicating device comprises a couple of screens parallel to one another, each screen constructed to provide an interference pattern when light is transmitted therethrough, One screen is fixed, the other can be freely rotated. The indicating devices are positioned with their screens in mutually perpendicular planes. A mirror projects an image of one pair of the screens alongside the other pair of screens.
