Angled pipe clamp is just like any pipe clamp. The only difference is that one end of the angled clamp is higher than the other making the clamp standing at an angle. See figures in sheet 4. The clamp has two legs with a gap between them. Two holes are provided in each leg through which bolts are inserted and tightened with nuts at the other end to reduce the gap and provide stronger grip to the pipe it is supporting. Each leg has its own base with two holes. These are used to fasten the clamp to any surface with a woodscrew or its equivalent. The angled clamp will be used in bath rooms to support shower curtain rods. Ordinary shower curtain rods run straight from wall to wall on the same line as the edge of the the tub. Curtain rod ends are mounted perpendicular to the wall. Because the curtain ends are close to the edge of the bath tub, water spillage from shower on the floor is too much. In a better setup, the curtain rod ends are brought from the outside edge of the tub, deeper into the shower area using 70 degree elbows, with 12 inch radius, see figure in sheet 5. The ends of the elbows are supported with angled clamp. At this condition, the shower curtain encloses the tub many times better than the straight curtain rod, thus reducing, if not totally eliminating, the water spillage to manageable amount.
