Disclosed are anhydrous aerosol hairspray compositions which comprise: (a) from about 0.1 % to about 10 % by weight of a silicone-grafted polycarboxylic acid copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of from about 10,000 to about 300,000, wherein the silicone-grafted polycarboxylic acid copolymer has a vinyl polymeric backbone, and a polysiloxane macromer grafted to the backbone wherein the polysiloxane macromer has a weight average molecular weight of from about 500 to about 50,000; (b) a neutralizing system comprising a combination of an organic and inorganic base, wherein the organic base is at a level sufficient to neutralize from about 25 % to about 80 % of the acid groups on the silicone-grafted copolymer while the inorganic base is at a level sufficient to neutralize from about 0.5 % to about 20 % of the acid groups on the silicone-grafted copolymer; (c) from about 5 % to about 50 % by weight of a nonhydrocarbon propellant that is substantially free of hydrocarbon propellants; and (d) the balance comprising a carrier suitable for application to hair. The anhydrous aerosol hairspray compositions defined herein do not weep or foam from the hairspray container, provide effective style retention, hair conditioning benefits, and do not feel unduly sticky or tacky to the touch.
La présente invention concerne des compositions anhydres en aérosol pour laques qui comprennent: (a) entre 1 % et 10 % environ en poids d'un copolymère d'acide polycarboxylique à greffe de silicone ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids compris entre 10 000 et 300 000 environ, dans lequel le copolymère d'acide carboxylique présente une ossature polymérique de vinyl, et un macromère de polysilolane greffé sur l'ossature, ce macromère de polysiloxane ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids compris entre 500 et 50 000 environ; (b) un système neutralisant constitué par une combinaison d'une base organique et d'une base inorganique, la base organique ayant un niveau suffisant pour neutraliser entre 25 % et 80 % environ des groupes acides sur le copolymère à greffe de silicone, la base inorganique ayant pour sa part un niveau suffisant pour neutraliser entre 0,5 % et 20 % environ des groupes acides de copolymère à greffe de silicone; (c) entre 5 % et 50 % environ en poids d'un agent propulseur autre qu'un hydrocarbure et exempt pour l'essentiel de propulseurs à base d'hydrocarbures; et (d) le reste composé d'un vecteur convenable pour application sur les cheveux. Les compositions de laque anhydres en aérosol définies ci-dessus ne suintent pas et ne moussent pas au niveau du récipient, assurent une fixation et une mise en forme efficace des cheveux et ne sont pas exagérément collantes ou poisseuses au toucher.
