ANILIDE UREA BIOCIDES Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to the utility of certain anilide ureas as biocidal agents having the formula Image R is selected from the group of alkyls having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, haloalkyls having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, NR1R2, NHR1, OR1 and SR1 in which R1 and R2 are independently lower alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, X and Y are in- dependently selected from the group consisting of H, Cl, CF3 and NHCOR3 and R3 is selected from the group of lower alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, haloalkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, NR4R5, NHR4, OR4 and SR4 in which R4 and R5 are independently lower alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
