ANIMAL CALL SIMULATOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A mechanical animal call generating device to aid hunters in the location of deep-throated animals such as moose. The invention is comprised of a cylinder, at least one end of the cylinder being closed and fabricated of vibratile material, and a fiber cord having one end adapted to be juxtaposed tautly with and centrally of the end of the cylinder upon the cord being taut. Upon wetting of the cord and pulling it within an enclosed palm of the user, a sound is generated which has been found to be response- generating to moose within earshot.
