ANIMAL COLLAR Abstract of the Disclosure A flexible, padded animal collar is releasably attachable around an animal's neck to prevent the animal from turning its head upon itself to lick at wounds, rip out sutures, dislodge surgical dressings, or other- wise interfere with the animal's convalescence from an injury or veterinary operation. The collar is suffi- ciently bulky to prevent the animal from turning its head upon itself, yet not so bulky that it unduly obstructs the animal's movement. The collar is softly padded to maximize the animal's comfort.
