A pelletized product is a mixture which contains 49 to 59 percent by weight powdery wood having a particle size of not more than 60 mesh, 20 to 30 percent by weight powdery bentonite having a particle size of not more than 200 mesh, 6 to 16 percent by weight highly water absorptive powdery resin, and 5 to 15 percent by weight powdery paste. The pelletized product serves as an animal excrement treating material which has a bulk density of 0.25 to 0.5 g/cm and a water absorptive capacity 1.3 to 3 times its own weight. The animal excrement treating material is combustible to permit incineration treatment, and solidifies each excrement and leaves a small amount of excrement to be discarded.
L'invention porte sur un produit en boulettes consistant en un mélange contenant de 49 à 59 % en poids de bois pulvérulent d'une grosseur de particule n'excédant pas 60 mesh, de 20 à 30 % en poids de smectite pulvérulente d'une grosseur de particule n'excédant pas 200 mesh, de 6 à 16 % en poids de résine pulvérulente à capacité d'absorption d'eau élevée et de 5 à 15 % en poids de colle pulvérulente. Ce produit en boulettes, qui est utilisé comme matériau de traitement pour excréments d'animaux, a une masse volumique apparente comprise entre 0,25 et 0,5 g/cm et une capacité d'absorption de l'eau de 1,3 à 3 fois son propre poids. Ce matériau, qui est combustible afin de permettre un traitement par incinération, permet de solidifier chaque excrément et ne laisse qu'une petite quantité d'excréments à éliminer.
