The invention relates to a non-therapeutic, veterinary method, comprising orally administering a stable vitamin E derivative to a monogastric animal, alone or in admixture with an additive and/or food, said derivative being hydrolysable into the assimilable form of the vitamin E and administered to said animal in the presence of at least one food emulsifier, selected from the non-ethoxylated esters of sorbitol and fatty acids. Said invention also relates to a formulation which comprises a stable vitamin E derivative and the at least one food emulsifier and the use of a food emulsifier in animal nutrition.

Le procédé zootechnique, non thérapeutique, de l'invention consiste à administrer par voie orale à un animal monogastrique, un dérivé stable de la vitamine E, seul ou en mélange à un additif et/ou un aliment, ledit dérivé étant hydrolysable en la forme assimilable de la vitamine E, et étant administré à l'animal, en présence d'au moins un émulsifiant alimentaire choisi parmi les esters non éthoxylés de sorbitol et d'acides gras. L'invention concerne aussi une formulation qui comprend un dérivé stable de la vitamine E et au moins undit émulsifiant alimentaire et l'utilisation d'un émulsifiant alimentaire dans la nutrition animale
