ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An animal kennel is disclosed, comprising a base and a house-shaped superstructure having a front wall provided with an opening. A removably-secured portico is provided to about the front wall, having a front wall of its own, provided with a second opening longitudinally spaced from the opening of the super- structure whereby the opening of the superstructure is completely shielded by the portico; the superstructure has upwardly- inwardly- inclined wells for vertical stacking. The superstructure is removably secured to the base, which has a flat floor. Heating means are provided to automatically heat the floor under the weight of an animal thereon.
