ABSTRACT An animal pen comprises an animal receiving structure having door means adjacent the rear end of the structure to enable the animal to enter the pen, first fluid operated power means to actuate an advancing means which is adapted to engage the rear of the animal to urge the animal forwardly in the structure, second fluid operated power means to actuate yoke means which are adapted to close around a front part, for example around a front part such as the neck of the animal to restrain the front part of the animal from movement.
