ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An animal trap is described having a stationary jaw member and a movable jaw member which is spring biassed towards the stationary jaw member. When the trap is set, the movable jaw member is held by a tripping device at a spacing from the stationary jaw member. The springs which bias the movable jaw member also support the trap in its position of use and are adjustable to vary the in- clination of the trap.
