A scoop device for removing soil such as animal faeces from the ground and having a rod, a handle at one end of the rod, a scoop swingably mounted near the other end of the rod, a bag support on the scoop for releasable holding a bag on the scoop, a scoop control extending along the rod to swing the scoop between extended and retracted positions, and, a rake detachably attachable to the rod for raking soil from the ground onto the scoop and deposit into the bag.
