QM 35131 ABSTRACT ANION EXCHANGE MEMBRANE Anion exchange membranes which are derived from aryl ether polymers wherein at least a portion of the aromatic rings are bound into the polymer backbone by two ether linkages and which bear a defined sulphonamide substituent are more chemically stable than conventional anion exchange membranes and may be used in electrodialysis systems.
