- 25 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed are copolymers having molecular weight from 2,000 to 10,000 and comprising a copolymer of ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of from 200 to 1000 aromatic dicarboxylic acid containing only carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms and alkali metal salt of a sulfonated aromatic dicarboxylic acid containing only carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and suflur atoms. The copolymers are useful for preparing anionic textile treating compositions.
