ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A permanent magnet made of a rigid material, said magnet having, within its entire body or in a part thereof, an anisotropic magnetic structure wherein the axes of easy magnetization in the elementary magnet regions have a convergent orientation in the environment of at least one of magnet poles. The value of magnetic induction to be delivered by the magnet of the invention to an air gap, or other part of magnetic circuit is raised relative to conventional an- isotropic permanent magnets made of the same materials.
