ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to anodes of composite materials, which are formed on a support constituted by fibrils, which are coated with a conducting layer of copper of thickness comprised between 3 and 10 microns. The copper layer is covered with a layer of cadmium of thickness comprised between 3 and 6 microns and the latter is covered with a layer of zinc of thickness greater than about 20 microns.
