A wristworn device comprising a radio communication device for receiving from and/or transmitting signals to a radio communication device external to the wristworn device. In at least one embodiment, the casing comprises a metallic watchcase having a slot, and wherein the watchcase is electrically coupled to the radio communication device to function as the antenna. In another embodiment, a metallic loop is provided in the casing proximate the watchcase, wherein the metallic loop is electrically coupled to the radio communication device to function as the antenna and the watchcase comprises a slot and functions as an element for the reception and/or transmission of electromagnetic radiation. In a third embodiment, the metallic watchcase does not have a slot and the watchcase is electrically coupled to the radio communication device to function as the antenna.
L'invention concerne un appareil porté au poignet comportant un appareil de communication radio pour recevoir et/ou transmettre des signaux en provenance/direction d'un appareil de communication extérieur à l'appareil porté au poignet. Dans au moins un mode de réalisation, le boîtier comporte un boîtier de montre métallique présentant une fente, le boîtier de montre étant couplé électriquement à l'appareil de communication radio afin de fonctionner comme antenne. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, une boucle métallique est prévue dans le boîtier, à proximité du boîtier de montre, la boucle métallique étant couplée électriquement à l'appareil de communication radio afin de fonctionner comme antenne, et le boîtier de montre présentant une fente et fonctionnant comme élément de réception et/ou de transmission de rayonnement électromagnétique. Dans un troisième mode de réalisation, le boîtier de montre métallique ne présente pas de fente et le boîtier de montre est couplé électriquement à l'appareil de communication radio afin de fonctionner comme antenne.
