CA 2571964

An antenna for a telecommunications device, particularly for a mobile telecommunications device such as a cell phone, portable computer or walkie-talkie, which has at least one conductor radiating element for sending and receiving communications data on a frequency band at a set resonance frequency, wherein the radiating element is at least partially inside a housing attached to at least one housing component of the communication device. The task of the invention is to make an antenna for telecommunications devices that is as small as possible and universally applicable, and withstands changing environments, specially different housings for cell phones without significantly affecting the sending and receiving capacity. The issue has thus been solved through an antenna comprising at least one additional conductor correcting element that is attached to the housing component, working in combination with the radiating element and compensating for the effect caused by this housing component on the resonance frequency of the radiating element.
