ABSTRACT A retractile antenna assembly for an electronic apparatus housed within a casing which includes a flexible electrically conductive antenna, an antenna conduit in the casing shaped so as to guide the antenna into and out of a coiled position, an electrically conductive slidable contact affixed to the casing and in slidable contact with the antenna, and an electrically conductive fastener coupling the slidable contact and a signal pad on an interior of the casing.
