An antenna (12) and mounting assembly (50) permitting azimuth adjustment of antenna elevation and rotation of the antenna about a polarity axis includes a molded antenna having an integrally molded polarity plate formed on its back side. The polarity plate has a back planar surface perpendicular to the polarity axis and is configured to receive a mounting bracket. A suitable mounting bracket has a polarity portion and an elevation portion generally separated by a boundary line and being substantially perpendicular to each other. The polarity portion (74) has a polarity slot (82) in it and the elevation portion (76) has an elevation mounting hole and an arcuate elevation slot lying along a circle having a center substantially corresponding to the position of the elevation hole. A first mounting member engages the mounting hole and polarity slot (82) to secure the bracket to the polarity plate. The angle of rotation of the antenna about the polarity axis relative to the bracket can be ajusted by adjusting the position of the mounting member within the polarity slot. The bracket (56) can be mounted to antenna azimuth clamp by a second mounting member which engages the elevation hole and a locking bolt which engages the elevation slot.
Cette invention se rapporte à un antenne (12) et à une unité de montage (50) permettant le réglage azimutal de l'élévation de l'antenne et sa rotation autour d'un axe de polarité, en utilisant une antenne moulée comportant une plaque de polarité moulée formée sur son côté arrière. Cette plaque de polarité possède une surface plane arrière perpendiculaire à l'axe de polarité et elle est configurée pour recevoir un étrier de montage. Un étrier de montage approprié présente une partie de polarité et une partie d'élévation généralement séparées par une ligne limite et essentiellement perpendiculaires entre elles. Dans la partie de polarité (74) est ménagée une fente de polarité (82) et la partie d'élévation (76) comporte un trou de montage d'élévation et une fente d'élévation courbe située le long d'un cercle dont le centre correspond pratiquement à la position du trou d'élévation. Un premier élément de montage s'engage dans le trou de montage et dans la fente de polarité (82), pour assujettir l'étrier à la plaque de polarité. L'angle de rotation de l'antenne autour de l'axe de polarité par rapport à l'étrier peut être réglé par réglage de la position de l'élément de montage dans la fente de polarité. L'étrier (56) peut être monté sur une pince d'azimut d'antenne à l'aide d'un second élément de montage qui s'engage dans le trou d'élévation et à l'aide d'un boulon de verrouillage qui s'engage dans la fente d'élévation.
