The present invention is concerned with an anthelmintic paste in form of an aqueous suspension, comprising a veterinarily effective amount each of praziquantel and a macrocyclic lactone selected from avermectins, milbemycins and derivatives thereof; a cyclodextrin; a thickener; and water. The suspension formulations of the present invention are useful for controlling endoparasites in warm-blooded animals such as companion animals.
La présente invention concerne une pâte anthelmintique sous forme d'une suspension aqueuse, comportant une quantité permettant des soins vétérinaires efficaces de praziquantel et de lactone macrocyclique choisi parmi les avermectines, les milbémycines et leurs dérivés; une cyclodextrine; un épaississant; et de l'eau. Les formulations de la suspension selon la présente invention sont utiles pour la lutte contre des endoparasites chez des animaux à sang chaud tels que des animaux de compagnie.
