It is intended to provide an anti-adhesion membrane which is not toxic to the living body, has flexibility that enables it to fit an affected area as a hydrated gel, has a uniform crosslinking structure, maintains its shape in the living body for a certain period of time and is promptly absorbed in the living body thereafter. The invention is directed to an anti-adhesion material comprising a thermally crosslinked gelatin film, wherein a water content calculated using the following formula (1) is 60 to 85%. water content (%) = [(Ws-Wd)/Ws] x 100(%) (1) In the formula (1), Ws represents a weight (wet weight) of the anti-adhesion material when the material is immersed in phosphate buffered saline at 25~C for 1 hour, and Wd represents a weight (dry weight) of the anti-adhesion material when the material is completely dried with a vacuum drier.

La présente invention prévoit de fournir une membrane anti-adhérence qui n'est pas toxique pour le corps vivant, possède une certaine flexibilité qui lui permet de s'adapter à une zone affectée sous la forme d~un gel hydraté, a une structure de réticulation uniforme, maintient sa forme dans le corps vivant pendant une certaine période et est ensuite promptement absorbée dans le corps vivant. L'invention concerne un matériau anti-adhérence comprenant un film de gélatine thermiquement réticulé, la teneur en eau calculée en utilisant la formule suivante (1) est de 60 à 85 %. Teneur en eau (%) = [(Ms - Md)/Ms] x 100 (%) (1) Dans la formule (1), Ms représente la masse (masse humide) du matériau anti-adhérence lorsque le matériau est immergé dans une solution saline tamponnée au phosphate à 25 °C pendant 1 heure, et Md représente la masse (masse à sec) du matériau anti-adhérence lorsque le matériau est complètement séché dans un séchoir sous vide.
