By humanizing an anti-AXL antibody originating from mouse, the immunogenicity thereof in humans can be reduced. Provided are an antibody capable of binding to a specific region in Anexelekto (AXL); and a humanized antibody constructed on the basis of this antibody. The aforesaid anti-AXL antibody has a high antitumor activity and, therefore, is useful as an agent for reducing the expression amount of AXL, an anticancer drug and a cancer diagnostic.
L'humanisation d'un anticorps anti-AXL de souris peut entraîner la réduction de l'immunogénicité de celui-ci chez l'être humain. La présente invention concerne donc un anticorps capable de se lier à une région spécifique d'Anexelekto (AXL), ainsi qu'un anticorps humanisé élaboré sur la base dudit anticorps. L'anticorps anti-AXL susmentionné possède une puissante activité antitumorale et peut donc être utilisé en tant qu'agent d'inhibition de l'expression d'AXL, en tant que médicament anticancéreux et dans le cadre du diagnostic du cancer.
