ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An anti-corrosive pigment comprises an iron oxide- calcium oxide sintered composite of an average particle size in a range of 0.7 - 7µm, which contains at least 25% by weight of 2CaO'Fe2O3 and has a extremely low water-soluble calcium content. An anti-corrosive aqueous paint containing the above pigment is also described which has superior storage stability without being subject to gellation.
