The security object comprises a substrate (1a), a surface structure (6) and a hologram layer (5). A volume hologram (7) is arranged in the hologram layer (5). The hologram layer (5) is deformed inhomogeneously by the surface structure (6), which gives rise to readily detectable changes in the reflections from the volume hologram (7). These changes can be used to verify the authenticity of the object. The surface structure (6) can e.g. be applied using intaglio printing techniques or embossing. Alternatively or in addition to the deformation of the hologram layer (5) by means of the surface structure (6), the hologram layer (5) may also be deformed by embossing.
La présente invention a trait à un objet de sécurité comportant un substrat (1a), une structure de surface (6) et une couche d'hologramme (5). Un hologramme volumique (7) est disposé dans la couche d'hologramme (5).
