An anti-cross contamination valve (30) for use in medical fluide delivery systems comprises a valve housing (42) having a first port (34), a second port (35), and a third port (36) that open into a hollow interior (41). A valve body (31) is rotatably mounted within the hollow interior (41) and has at least one fluid passageway therethrough. A lamb (32) is attached to the valve body (31) and extends outside of the valve housing (42). At at least one fluid passageway opens the first port (34) to the third port (36) when the valve body (31) is rotated to a first position, and the second port (35) opens to the third port (36) when the valve body (31) is rotated to a second position. In order to prevent the possibility of cross contamination, the valve includes stop barriers (38) and/or a special passageway/port geometry that prevents the possibility of the first port (34) coming into fluid communication with the second port (35), or vice versa.

L'invention concerne une vanne (30) anti-contamination croisée destinée à être utilisée dans des systèmes d'administration de fluide médical et comportant un corps (42) pourvu d'un premier orifice (34), d'un deuxième orifice (35) et d'un troisième orifice (36) s'ouvrant dans un intérieur creux (41). Un corps (31) de vanne est monté rotatif dans l'intérieur creux (41) et comporte un passage pour le fluide. Un bouton (32) est fixé au corps (31) de vanne et s'étend vers l'extérieur du corps (42) de la vanne. Au niveau d'au moins un passage pour fluide, le premier orifice (34) s'ouvre sur le troisième orifice (36) lorsque le corps (31) de vanne tourne vers une première position, et le deuxième orifice (35) s'ouvre sur le troisième (36) lorsque le corps (31) de vanne tourne vers une seconde position. Afin d'éviter toute contamination croisée, la vanne comporte des éléments d'arrêt (38) et/ou présente une géométrie spéciale passage/orifice qui permet d'éviter que le premier orifice (34) vienne en communication fluidique avec le deuxième (35), ou vice versa.
