Provided is an anti-dandruff shampoo composition comprising: (a) from about 8 % to about 40 %, by weight, of anionic detersive surfactant; (b) from about 0.1 % to about 5 %, by weight, of particulate anti-dandruff agent having an average particle size of from about 0.35 microns to about 5 microns; (c) from about 0.01 % to about 1.0 %, by weight, of a stabilizing agent for said anti- dandruff agent, said stabilizing agent being a soluble cationic polymer; (d) from about 50 % to about 91.89 %, by weight, water; wherein said shampoo composition is substantially free of suspending agents selected from the group consisting of crystalline suspending agents and anionic, nonionic, and amphoteric polymeric suspending agents. Also provided is a process used for making the present compositions wherein said particulate anti-dandruff agent and said cationic polymer are admixed in water in the presence of anionicdetersive surfactant.
La présente invention concerne une composition de shampooing antipelliculaire comprenant: (a) d'environ 8 % à environ 40 % en poids d'un agent tensioactif détergent anionique; (b) d'environ 0,1 % à environ 5 % en poids d'un agent antipelliculaire sous forme de particules dont la grosseur moyenne va d'environ 0,35 microns à environ 5 microns; (c) d'environ 0,01 % à environ 1,0 % en poids d'un agent stabilisant pour l'agent antipelliculaire mentionné, cet agent stabilisant étant un polymère cationique soluble; (d) d'environ 50 % à environ 91,89 % d'eau en poids. Cette composition de shampooing est sensiblement exempte d'agents de mise en suspension choisis dans le groupe que constituent les agents de mise en suspension cristallins et les agents de mise en suspension polymères anioniques, non ioniques et amphotères. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de fabrication des compositions en question, procédé selon lequel l'agent antipelliculaire sous forme de particules et le polymère cationique mentionnés sont mélangés dans de l'eau en présence d'un agent tensioactif détergent anionique.
