It is intended to provide an anti-HLA-DR monoclonal antibody. Namely, an antibody binding to HLA-DR having characteristics of (a) showing a life- prolonging effect on a nonhuman animal carrying cancer cells with HLA-DR expression and (b) having a lower immune reaction inhibitory activity than L243 or a functional fragment thereof; or an antibody binding to HLA-DR showing an immunosuppressive activity comparable to or higher than mouse anti- HLA-DR monoclonal antibody L243 (ATCC HB-55) or a functional fragment thereof.
L'invention concerne un anticorps monoclonal anti-HLA-DR. L'invention concerne essentiellement un anticorps se liant à HLA-DR caractérisé a) en ce qu'il possède un effet de prolongation de la vie sur un animal non humain portant des cellules cancéreuses exprimant HLA-DR et b) en ce qu'il possède une activité inhibitrice de réaction immunitaire plus faible que celle de L243 ou d'un fragment fonctionnel de celui-ci. L'invention concerne également un anticorps se liant à HLA-DR caractérisé en ce qu'il possède une activité immunosuppressive comparable ou supérieure à celle de l'anticorps monoclonal L243 anti- HLA-DR (ATCC HB-55) ou d'un fragment fonctionnel de celui-ci.
