The current invention is directed to an anti-idiotype antibody binding to the complementary determining region of an antibody against the amyloid .beta. peptide. In one embodiment said antibody binds to the same epitope or an overlapping epitope as the antibody obtainable from the cell line DSM ACC2939. Also reported is an immunoassay for the determination of an antibody against the amyloid .beta. peptide and for determination of an anti- idiotype antibody binding to an antibody against the amyloid .beta. peptide.
La présente invention porte sur un anticorps anti-idiotype se liant à la région déterminante complémentaire d'un anticorps dirigé contre le peptide amyloïde ß. Dans un mode de réalisation, ledit anticorps se lie au même épitope ou à un épitope chevauchant que l'anticorps pouvant être obtenu à partir de la lignée cellulaire DSM ACC2939. L'invention porte également sur un immunodosage pour la détermination d'un anticorps dirigé contre le peptide amyloïde ß et pour la détermination d'un anticorps anti-idiotype se liant à un anticorps dirigé contre le peptide amyloïde ß.
