A coupling for joining to a conduit has a housing defining an interior chamber extending slang a longitudinal axis, and the housing has an open end for receiving a conduit in the chamber. The coupling further includes a plurality of circumferential locking teeth disposed in the housing and fixed against rotation about the longitudinal axis, the circumferential locking teeth having engagement ends adapted to engage an outer surface of a conduit upon receipt of the conduit in the chamber, to prevent rotation of the conduit relative to the coupling.
