The assembly includes an elastomeric grommet formed with radial ribs for compressive mounting in a wall opening and a lamp housing formed with a plurality of radial ribs for compressive engagement between the lamp housing and the inner surface of the grommet for preventing rotation of a mounted assembly due to road shock and vibration.
