- 1 - ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An intruder barrier for mounting on the top or side face of a wall is provided. The intruder barrier comprises a scaling barrier formed from a number of blades radially arranged and rotatable about a shaft. Each blade diverges from an apex formed by bending a sheet of material intermediate its ends, and d portion of the material at the apex is cut away to interlock with the apex of another blade or blades to form a hole for reception of the support shaft.
