- 1 - ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An intruder barrier comprises a scaling barrier formed from a number of deformable blades of open mesh configuration radially arranged and rotatable about a longitudinal axis defined by a shaft. The shaft is mounted between a pair of supports on a wall. Thus any attempt to climb over the wall is foiled as the blades deform and rotate and prevent an intruder getting a firm grip.
