BRAKE TESTING METHOD ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for dynamically testing the operation of a vehicle anti-skid brake system and for making a rec- ord thereof includes engaging a wheel of the vehicle with a rapidly rotating inertia member and accurately measur- ing and recording changes in an appropriate operating characteristic of the wheel while the vehicle brakes are being fully applied with sufficient power to rapidly slow the inertia member to essentially zero rpm and simultan- eously to cause the anti-skid system, if operating prop- erly, to rapidly release and reapply brake force in a manner to cause the wheel speed to decrease in stepwise fashion.
