A fuel additive for preventing slagging which comprises a composition comprising water and/or an oil and, dispersed stably therein, one or more of an aluminum compound, a silica compound, a titanium compound and a zirconium compound in the form of ultra-fine particles having a particle diameter of 3 to 200 nm, and an alkali metal (R = Na or K) compound in an amount of 2 wt % or less in terms of R2O. The above fuel additive is used for preventing slagging caused by ash contents present in an oil during the burning of various fuels, in particular, a fuel having a high ash content such as coal or oil coke. The ash deposited on the surface of a furnace wall or a water tube can be released and fallen with ease from the surface by addition of the above fuel additive to a liquid fuel or a solid fuel prior to the burning thereof.
L'additif anti-scorification pour combustible selon la présente invention est une composition faite d'eau et/ou d'huile portant en dispersion stable l'un au moins de plusieurs composés et notamment un composé d'aluminium, un composé de silice, un composé de titane, et un composé de zirconium sous forme de particules ultra-fines d'un diamètre particulaire compris entre 3 et 200 nm, et un composé à base de métal alcalin (R = Na ou K) pour 2% au maximum de la masse du R¿2?O. Cet additif convient pour la prévention de la scorification imputable à la teneur en cendres d'une huile pendant la combustion de divers combustibles, et notamment de combustibles à forte teneur en centres (coke de houille ou de pétrole). L'adjonction à un combustible liquide ou solide de l'additif de l'invention avant la combustion permettra de décendrer facilement la paroi d'un foyer ou d'un tube d'eau.
