Absorbent devices for receiving fuel spill during the filling of a fuel tank (24) include a gasket (A) constructed from a matrix (11) of melt blown polypropylene fibers and frictionally held upon the fuel nozzle below the handle (21) on the spout (19) having outer surfaces (B) for engaging an entrance (22) to the fuel tank and a central passageway (C) defined by compliant walls for preventing fuel surges from backing up out the fuel tank. A squeezable pillow (D) provides adhesive attachment (17) for positioning for receiving spillage from a fuel vent.
Ces dispositifs absorbants, destinés à recevoir tout débordement accidentel lors du remplissage d'un réservoir de carburant (24), comprennent un joint d'étanchéité (A), lequel est construit à partir d'une matrice (11) de fibres de polypropylène fondues et soufflées, est maintenu en contact frictionnel sur l'injecteur de carburant, en dessous du manche (21) et sur le bec (19) de celui-ci, et présente des surfaces extérieures (B), destinées à entrer en contact avec l'orifice (22) d'entrée du réservoir de carburant, ainsi qu'un passage central (C) délimité par des parois souples, afin d'empêcher des refoulements de carburant en provenance du réservoir. Un coussin souple (D) comporte une fixation adhésive (17) permettant son placement afin qu'il puisse recevoir tout débordement provenant d'un conduit de mise à l'air libre de carburant.
