Anti-TRAIL-R1 and R2 antibodies or functional fragments thereof, having at least one property selected from the following (a) to (c) of: (a) having activity to induce apoptosis in carcinoma cells expressing TRAIL-R1 and/or TRAIL-R2; (b) not having effect on normal human cells expressing TRAIL-R1 and/or TRAIL-R2; and (c) not inducing human hepatocyte toxicity.

La présente invention concerne des anticorps dirigés contre les TRAIL-R1 et TRAIL-R2 et présentant l'une au moins des trois caractéristiques (a, b ou c), ou des fragments de ces anticorps. La première caractéristique (a) est de présenter une activité induisant l'apoptose des cellules cancéreuse exprimant TRAIL-R1 et/ou TRAIL-R2. La deuxième caractéristique (b) est de n'exercer aucun effet sur les cellules humaines normales exprimant TRAIL-R1 et/ou TRAIL-R2. Enfin, la troisième caractéristique (c) est de n'induire aucune blessure sur les hépatocytes humains.
